2010 MOTO GUZZI BREVA 1100

The Breva 1100 is specially designed to apply the philosophy of Carlo Guzzi to the 21st century. Here is a naked that is comfortable solo or two up, robust as all Moto Guzzis should be, and uses the latest technology to guarantee comfort, easy handling, reliability and a durability – in short a motorcycle for all riders. Far from concealing, the beauty of the Breva 1100 reveals the bike’s high-tech heart. The striking shape of the cylinder heads and of Moto Guzzi’s patented CA.R.C compact reactive shaft drive system add unique character to the motorcycle seen from the sides. Blending in perfectly with a look in which every component is positioned with dynamic equilibrium, these key features give the Breva 1100 a sporting but not extreme styling and emphasise a no-nonsense approach to motorcycle design. The initial impression conveyed at first glance is confirmed on closer examination of the engine and chassis. Guzzi’s latest generation 90° V twin sets new standards in engine design. With formidable torque at low revs, it also delivers superbly smooth power thanks to electronic injection conforming to Euro3 standards. The excellent characteristics of the Breva 1100’s engine are equally matched a chassis that is the result of painstaking development work on frame and suspension. This chassis is a source of pure motorcycling pleasure even on demanding roads. The robust 45 mm fork guarantees perfect entry into bends while the fully adjustable monoshock keeps the motorcycle glued to the road when powering out. Active safety is guaranteed by a powerful braking system with two 320 mm floating discs at the front and a 282 mm disc at the rear. And with the new Breva 1100 ABS version, active safety also extends to the most insidious road surfaces. Both models share the same colour schemes: bright Corsa Red, eternal Guzzi Black, and sophisticated new Mica Mother of Pearl.
