2010 MV Agusta F4 1000 R

The 35 “Motorcycle of the Year” awards we received since 1999 has only inspired us to set new challenges in striving to develop a factory 1000cc sports bike that is a level above any other. Exclusivity, pedigree, heritage, aesthetics and function are the building blocks that created the all new F41000R masterpiece.

Being the latest evolution from the world famous F4 line, the F41000R has truly raised the bar once more, this time with more power and envious performance components over the 'S'.

The all new engine receives a new Magneti Marelli 5SM ignition injection system which is totally tunable to suit your riding style as well as providing a smoother power delivery across the entire rev range. The ‘R’ engine also receives a totally redesigned head with new bimetallic valves, new forged pistons, new intake duct geometry and larger clutch. Exhaust gases are expelled through lightweight titanium finished silencers. All this translates to an increase in power by 10CV over the 'S'.

Combine the new superior Brembo P4/34 radial brake callipers and struts with the new larger 320mm Brembo front discs, with the new light and strong Brembo forged aluminium Y spoke wheels as well as the new generation Marzocchi USD 50mm fork, then you end up with a factory 1000cc sports bike that is closer to an elite MV Agusta Limited Edition model.

The F41000R is coated in sinister black with a red slash on its body work as well as a titanium finish applied to the fairing air vents. There is also the choice of the traditional 'factory' red and silver with the same titanium finish applied to the fairing air vents. Take a closer look at the Product Information as well as the specifications to know more about the new ‘R’ and be awed once more.
